Single Information Web Portal

During the official ceremony at the European Parliament the Award for Public Communications of Bulgaria was bestowed by the Prime Minister of

the Grand Duchy of Luxemburg

“Congratulations on the exceptional success” – with these words the Prime Minister of the Great Duchy of Luxemburg Xavier Bettel bestowed the plaque to Maria Zafirova – Head of the Central Information and Coordination Office of the Administration of the Council of Ministers. In return she thanked the sponsors for the high assessment and recognition of the achievements of our state in the field of communications.

Bulgarian Representatives were congratulated on the great success by their partners in the European Commission, Representatives of the Committee of the Regions, colleagues from other European institutions and delegates from variety of organizations from other states. The presentation of the initiative “To create Bulgaria 2020 together” nominated for the award caused a great interest and provoked an entirely positive feedback from the attendees of the event.

Bulgaria won the Third Prize in the Public Administration Competition within the sixth edition of the EuroPcom International Forum conducted in Brussels and held on 21-22 of October 2015. Our state was a finalist among 29 candidates from 17 states. Three proposals reached the final of the contest – Bulgaria, France and Holland. The award was bestowed for the National Information Campaign “To create Bulgaria 2020 together”, implemented by the Central Coordination Unit and the network of the 27 District Information Centers with the support of the Managing Authorities of the programs.

The web portal is developed and maintained under Project 0045-CIO-3.2 "Maintenance and development of а Single information web portal for Structural and Cohesion Funds in Bulgaria www.eufunds.bg" (BG161PO002-3.2.01-0004-C0001). The project is implemented with the financial support of Operational Programme "Technical Assistance" co-financed by the European Union through the European Regional Development Fund
