 Hasan Azis, Mayor of Kardzhali, announced the start of the construction of three new centres for family-type accommodation and a sheltered housing unit. The Mayor performed the first dig under the Home for Every Child Project, whose total value is BGN 2,394 million with funding coming exclusively from Operational Programme Regional Development. The construction works will be carried out by the SA civil alliance with the participation of the local companies "Savarona" and "Ardastroi". Engineer Hasan Azis qualified the implementation of the project is a significant event for Kardzhali Municipality and as a reward for the hard work of the local government in recent years. The Manager of the Home for Every Child Project is Engineer Vasil Bobekov, Ex-Deputy Mayor of Kardzhali. The groundbreaking ceremony was also attended by Nazmi Myumyun, Deputy Regional Governor, the Administrative Management of Kardzhali Municipality, experts from the Regional Information Centre, as well as by Erol Kasim, the owner of one of the contractor companies. He stated that the centres would be built by the end of the year and that quality would be the top priority. Deputy Regional Governor Nazmi Myumyun congratulated Mayor Hasan Azis with the implemented project and pointed out that this was indicative of a new attitude towards disadvantaged children and evidenced the development of society.
