Single Information Web Portal

Information about current and forthcoming possibilities for applying under Operational Programme "Human Resources Development" (OPHRD) was presented on the meeting held on 16 November in Sapareva Banya Municipality, organized by the Kyustendil District Information Point.  Within the information event up-to-date information about the schemes "First Job", "Employment  Support", "Closer to Work", "New Beginning", "Again Working", "Start in the administration". The expert from Dupnitsa Employment Agency, invited by Kyustendil District Information Point answered to the number of questions of the attendants, mainly directed to the possibilities for appointing young unemployed persons.   One of the main focuses of the information event was the procedure for selection of projects "New workplace". The aim of this financial aid scheme is to encourage the employers to appoint young unemployed persons of age up to 29, ensuring support for the investment and labour costs, related to opening new workplaces for the target group. A possibility will be given for providing vocational training and/or key competences training of the appointed young people depending on the employer's needs. On this scheme up to 4.30 o'clock p.m. on 20 December 2012 employers may apply by submitting project proposals, meeting specific requirements, pursuant to the Guidelines for application. "On the way" is another procedure on OPHRD which was presented during the information meeting. This scheme provides a possibility to employers to apply for financing to organize the transportation to and from the workplace for the persons engaged in the respective enterprise. One of the requirements is that these persons work in residential places different of and located at no more than 100 km from those of their current address registration.  Under "On the Way" scheme employers meeting specific requirements pursuant to the Application guidelines for this procedure may apply, by submitting project proposals. The deadline for submission of project proposals under this scheme is 11.01.2013, 4.30 o'clock p.m.  With the meeting held on in the town of Sapareva Banya the second cycle of events organized by Kyustendil District Information Point in Kyustendil District was finalized. The events aimed to explain the mechanisms of functioning of the Structural Funds and the Cohesion Fund of the EU and to provide information about current procedures under the operational programmes, co-financed by the Structural Funds and the Cohesion Fund of the EU. Until the end of this year Kyustendil District Information Point will start a third series of meetings for providing information about the new programme period 2014 - 2020 and for promoting best practices from implemented projects, co-financed by the Structural Funds and the Cohesion Fund of the EU.  Kyustendil District Information Point is a part of the network of 28 information Points for promotion of the EU Cohesion Policy, established with the financial support of  Operational Programme "Technical Assistance", co-financed by the European Union through the European Fund for Regional Development. Kyustendil District Information Point was established in implementation of project № 0070-ОКЛ-3.3. "Establishing a District Information Point in Kyustendil Municipality, Agreement No BG161PO002-3.3.02-00016-C0001.
