On 11 July 2012 at 10:00 am in the meeting room of the Tran Municipality District Information Point - Pernik (DIP) organized an information meeting with the following topic: Open Procedures for Financial Grants under Operational Programmes. Sharing Best Practices. It is part of the series of information days on the territory of the Pernik Municipality, promulgating the opportunities provided by the Structural and Cohesion Funds of the European Union.
The participants in the meeting were introduced to the procedures under the Operational Programmes performed in the country. The project Energy Renovation of Bulgarian Homes of the Housing Department at the MRDPW caused a lot of interest. A lot of the attendees shared that relatives and close friends of theirs live in Pernik. With a view to distribution of information for the opportunities provided by the Structural and Cohesion Funds of EU the experts of DIP- Pernik clarified the main steps for including multi-family buildings in the project and the measures admissible for receiving 50% co-financing.
Vanya Davidova, expert in DIP- Pernik, presented to the forum participants information for successfully implemented projects as best practice sharing.
First of the presented projects was School - My Day And My Future, implemented in the Radomir Municipality in partnership with Euromodel association and St. St. Cyril and Methodius primary school at the value of BGN 106,721.00 and co-financed by Human Resources Development OP aimed at creating and development of best practices for physical, intellectual and logical development of children and enrichment and extending extracurricular activities. Within the framework of the project clubs were created by various interests: Sports Activities; Creativity and Design; Theater, Dancing and Singing; Aquacultures and Fishing; Atlas; Ecology ; and Patriotism. Also the Inter-schools festival of knowledge and skills took place.
The second best practice presented by the experts of DIP- Pernik was the project Improvement of Social Infrastructure in Radomir Municipality, financed by Regional Development OP. The execution of this project gave opportunity for complete reconstruction and modernization of the buildings at Home for Elderly People "St. Ivan Rilski" in the town of Radomir and Home for Children Deprived of Parental Care "Radost" in the village of Dren. The budget amounts to BGN 3,953,968.88 and its performance was successfully finished in the beginning of 2011.
