On July 25th 2012 the second work meeting for proactive work with mass media took place at the office of District Information Point - Pernik and was attended by representatives of all regional daily press, cable TV, periodicals and Internet editions. The team of the Information Point reported its activity and the achieved results since its creation on December 1st 2011 until today.
More than 120 citizens and representatives of NGOs, educational institutions, companies etc. visited the office and sought information about the Structural and Cohesion Funds of European Union. Twelve information meetings took place, divided into 2 cycles, for promulgation of the European Funds and the opportunities they provide and for these meeting all the municipal locations in Pernik District were visited. The total number of participants who attended the meetings is over 310. The team of DIP- Pernik prepared and sent to potential beneficiaries by ordinary post or email over 600 letters containing answers to questions received by telephone or at the office, letters of up-to-date information for open schemes under Operational Programmes and invitations for information meetings.
Vanya Davidova, expert in Communication, Information and Logistics, informed the attending journalists about the active procedures for choice of project proposals under the Operational Programmes. The main emphasis fell on the project Energy Renovation of Bulgarian Homes under Regional Development OP, giving the citizens of Pernik the opportunity to renew the multi-family buildings.
With a view to sharing and promulgating best practices from implemented and completed projects, which are performed through the Operational Programmes, two projects of Radomir Municipality were introduced.
DIP- Pernik would like to inform the citizens of Pernik District that they can receive up-to-date information at the office, by phone or email for the currently open schemes under: Regional Development OP - project Energy Renovation of Bulgarian Homes; Human Resources Development OP - BG051PO001-1.2.03 Encouraging Commencement of Projects for Development of People's Own Business - Component II; OP Competitiveness BG161PO003-2.3.02 Energy Efficiency and Green Economy, as well as for all open and upcoming schemes under OPs. The Information Point is located at 15 Krakra str., town of Pernik (next to the Town Ceremonial Hall) and is open for visitors every day from 8:00 a.m. to 12 p.m. and from 13 p.m. to 17 p.m.
