Single Information Web Portal

On November 20th 2012 in the meeting room of Municipality of Pernik an information meeting, organized by the District Information Point-Petnik on the topic: "Key documents and priorities of the new programming period 2014-2020. Sharing of good practices" took place. The meeting was attended by the local authority, non-governmental organizations, educational and health institutions, representatives of the business, etc., with great interest. Stoyan Yotov, and expert in European Funds presented the priorities of the new programming period 2014-2020, as well as the key EU documents. "As before most of the funds in Bulgaria will be granted by the European Regional Development Fund, at least 50% and above, and the amount will be about BGN 10-11 million. Half of the funds will be used for low-carbon economy, innovation and medium and small-sized enterprises. The other half will be used for measures for development of cities and regions - dimensions so important for Bulgaria", said Yotov. "Bulgaria will be able to rely on about BGN 17 billion grant from the EU Cohesion and Structural Funds and the amount together with the national co-financing is likely to exceed BGN 20 billion. This is about BGN 4,5 billion more than the current programming period.", said Yotov. District Information Point-Pernik, as a part of the network of 28 information points was established under a project of Municipality of Pernik and financed under Contract BG161РО002-3.3.02-00026-С0001 of Technical Assistance Operational Programme, co-financed by the European Union through the European Regional Development Fund.
