On October 25th 2012 in the meeting room of Municipality of Kovatchevtsi an information day, organized by the District Information Point-Pernik (DIP) took place. The topic of the meeting was: Implementation of operational programmes for the district. Open grant award procedures under the operational programmes. Sharing of good pratices".
Representatives of municipal administration, non-governmental organizations and students attended the event.
After analysis of data taken from the Information System for Coordination and Management of Structural Instruments of EU in Bulgaria (MIS), the expert in European projects Zhecho Zhechev explained that from all municipalities in Pernik Region only Municipality of Kovachevtsi has no registered project under the Operational Programmes. "The information presented by your team is extremely helpful for us, said municipality's representatives, however we still encounter difficulties in drafting the projects and need a methodological support".
From all the current procedures presented an interest raised the Energy Efficiency and Green Economy Scheme, which is entirely focused on the business and financed under Operational Programme Development of the Competitiveness of the Bulgarian Economy. The Manager of the Information Point Elena Tsolova presented the main application guidelines emphasizing that this procedure has an entirely new application and implementation mechanism.
Another procedure aimed at supporting business activity "Safety Working Environment" under Human Resources Development Operational Programme was also interesting to the people. "If a small or medium-sized enterprise wants to apply for funding of activities, related to the improvement of health and safety of its employees, it may receive 100% funding from the Operational Programme", said Tsolova.
District Information Point-Pernik, as a part of the network of 28 information points was established under a project of Municipality of Pernik and financed under Contract BG161РО002-3.3.02-00026-С0001 of Technical Assistance Operational Programme, co-financed by the European Union through the European Regional Development Fund.
