Single Information Web Portal

District Information Point-Pernik hosted a workshop with the Minister of EU Funds Management Tomislav Donchev. The meeting has been initiated by Society "Stability in Pernik" and organized by the DIP-Pernik with the assistance of the Central Information and Coordination Office and the Minister's team. At the meeting were discussed the funding opportunities with EU Funds for project to overcome the adverse effects of over 110 years of mining in Pernik Region. The meeting was attended by the Mayor of the Municipality of Pernik-Rositsa Yanakieva, The Chairman of the Society "Stability in Pernik" Kiril Ivanov, Milcho Milchev-member and a chief designer of draft projects, related to the technical liquidation of mining sites in the Pernik basin by filling and plugging, organization representatives. The representatives of the Society "Stability in Pernik" acquainted Minister Donchev and his team with a problem, so fundamental to Pernik-during the long coal output were holed multiple galleries which currently represent a serious risk to the safety of the city, if not filled. Society's experts promised to prepare a detailed report on the problem discussed. The Minister, in turn, is committed to another meeting with the Society, where he will involve and European Commission representatives. District Information Point-Pernik, as a part of the network of 28 information points was established under a project of Municipality of Pernik and financed under Contract BG161РО002-3.3.02-00026-С0001of Technical Assistance Operational Programme, co-financed by the European Union through the European Regional Development Fund.
