On the 21st of September 2012 in the meeting room of Municipality of Radomir the District Information Point-Pernik (DIP) held and information day on "Implementation of the Operational Programmes for the district. Open grant award procedures under the operational programmes. Sharing of good practices."
The meeting was part of a series of information days, carried out in the six municipalities from Pernik Region aimed at promoting opportunities, provided by the EU Structural Funds and Cohesion Fund. Representatives of the municipal administration, business, NGOs and municipal schools were invited to participate.
Mr. Zhecho Zhechev, an external lecturer for the organization-expert in European Projects introduced the implementation of the operational programmes, implemented by Republic of Bulgaria in the period 2007-2013.
The Manager of DIP-Pernik Elena Tsolova presented the current procedures for selection of project proposals. She highlights the procedures "Safe Working Environment" under Human Resources Development Operational Programme and "Energy Efficiency and Green Economy" under Operational Programme Development of the Competitiveness of the Bulgarian Economy, which are of interest to the business. Tsolova drew the attention of representatives of the Municipality of Radomir to the latest procedure Competent and Effective Public Administration under Operational Programme Administrative Capacity. The programme will be provided BGN 20 million for improving the qualification of staff in central and regional administrations through training country-wide. Projects will be funded to improve the professional competence of civil servants for more effective and efficient performance of their obligations.
District Information Point-Pernik, as a part of the network of 28 information points was established under a project of Municipality of Pernik and financed under Contract BG161РО002-3.3.02-00026-С0001 of Technical Assistance Operational Programme, co-financed by the European Union through the European Regional Development Fund.
