On September 17, 2012 in St. Ivan Rilski Primary School-Pernik the Manager of the District Information Point - Pernik Elena Tsolova announced the launch of the drawing competition on "How I Want European Union to Change My Town". The initiative is under the auspices of the Minister of EU Funds Management Tomislav Donchev. The sponsor of the competition is the Central Information and Coordination Office at the Administration of the Council of Ministers and all 27 District Information Points (DIP).
"Dear children, show us in your paintings how do you want to look your city, so we, the adults to see your dreams and help you to make them real and the city to be made a better place for living, a city with an European dimension" said Tsolova.
Children that want to participate may submit their drawings at the District Information Point-Pernik, 15 Krakra Str between September 17 and October 19, 2012.
The winners will be announced on November 1, 2012 in every District Point. The winners will receive an MP3 player and there will be and incentive awards for all other participants.
The drawings of the regional round winners will be send to Sofia for a national round, where only one winner shall be determined. The official winner's ceremony will take place on December 21, 2012 and then Minister Donchev will meet the children and will personally present the awards to the winners. All the winners will receive a PSP-console.
District Information Point-Pernik, as a part of the network of 28 information points promoting the European Union Cohesion Policy was established under a project of Municipality of Pernik and financed under Contract BG161РО002-3.3.02-00026-С0001 of Technical Assistance Operational Programme, co-financed by the European Union through the European Regional Development Fund.
