At the final meeting with representatives of the media, held on December 19, 2012 the staff of the Regional Information Center - Pernik accounted for its activities and the results achieved this year by the network of information centers in Bulgaria.
30 information sessions with more than 600 participants were conducted within the framework of the information campaign to promote the Structural and Cohesion Fund of the European Union, which started in early May 2012.
Apart from planned events experts from the Information center organized and conducted workshops with different target groups to which they provided information on current procedures in OPs.
On October 10, 2012, in a different format was the workshop with the participation of Minister in charge of EU funds Tomislav Donchev, initiated by the Association "Stability of Pernik" and with the assistance of the team of RIC-Pernik. Opportunities for Funding by EU funds of a project to overcome the adverse effects of the 110-year mining the territory of the district town were sought in the meeting.
More than 240 representatives from various institutions, NGOs, businesses and individuals have sought information at the office of the RIC - Pernik.
The team of RIC - Pernik reported their participation in events and initiatives organized by partner organizations and institutions. Peer participation of experts from the "Agricultural advices" National Service with which information sessions promoting Euro funds were jointly organized, was presented as best practice.
The results of the drawing competition "How I want the European Union to change my city", which passed under the auspices of Minister Tomislav Donchev and were organized by the Central Information and Coordination Office (CICO), were presented as an initiative aimed at the younger generation in Bulgaria.
Experts from RIC - Pernik participated in the exhibition "Europe for us" at the "Open days` 2012" international forum with working visits to Poland and Belgium, workshops, trainings and seminars.
The assessment of the functioning of the network of Regional information centers in 2012 was 10 000 visitors in the offices, 9,000 responses to inquiries, 9,000 media reports; 900 public events with 25,000 participants.
