42 information events will be held in 2013 by the team of the Regional Information Center - Pernik, which will promote the opportunities offered by the Structural Funds and the Cohesion Fund of the European Union. This became clear at the first for the year briefing held on January 22, 2013 in the conference hall of the Municipality of Pernik. 36 meetings were planned in the six municipalities in the region of Pernik in order to inform the public about current funding opportunities under the operational programs. The team of the Information center has planned 6 meetings for working proactively with the media.
The meeting was attended by representatives of non-governmental organizations, businesses, educational institutions, mayors of towns and villages and others.
The manager of the RIC - Pernik, Elena Tzolova, made a report on the activities of the center during 2012 and introduced to the participants of the forum to the annual work plan for 2013. Four are the main priorities in the activities of the center: the promotion of a network of 28 data centers, promoting the next programming period 2014 - 2020; promotion of current opportunities of OP in 2013, focusing on lessons learned during the current programming period; promotion of good practice in the operational programs.
In order to promote Info-network, attendees had the opportunity to learn about activities and staff of the Regional Information Center - Montana. "Cooperation among the 28 offices and exchange of experience are essential for the proper functioning of the network," said Tzolova. "Anyone interested may apply to each of the teams of the regional centers and receive adequate and comprehensive information on the operational programs implemented by Bulgaria", she added.
