On 24.04.2013, in the conference room of the Municipality Zemen, the District Information Centre - Pernik held a briefing on "Presentation of updated information for the preparation of the new 2014-2020 programming period for open procedures for project selection and sharing best practices. The briefing was attended by representatives of business, NGOs, municipal administration and citizens.
Stoyan Yotov - "European projects and programs" expert presented the participants in the forum with an update on the new 2014 - 2020 programming period. Open procedures for the selection of projects under the currently seven operational programs were displayed. The upcoming opening of the procedure "Implementation of innovations in enterprises", funded by the OP "Competitiveness" was announced for the business representatives. Municipalities have the last opportunity during this programming period, to submit proposals under II "Human Resource Management" Priority Axis, sub-priority 2.2. "Competent and efficient public administration" for which "Administrative Capacity" (OPAC) OP will provide 7 million BGN.
The representatives of the municipal administration of Zemen said that currently in progress are the "New Opportunities" and "Help at Home" projects, funded by the "Human Resources Development" OP. In a partnership is running the "Destination Kyustendil-Nevestino-Zemen - nature, traditions and rich history" project, funded by the "Regional Development" OP. Also submitted is a project proposal and recently closed under OPAC from the "good governance" priority axis, "Effective coordination and partnership in the development and implementation of policies" sub-priority. The people from Zemen added that have also already successfully completed projects implemented within the operational programs.
