On 30.04.2013, in the hall of the Regional Information Center - Pernik (RIC) was held a briefing about proactive work with media entitled "Presentation of current information for the preparation of the new 2014-2020 programming period for open procedures for the selection of projects and sharing best practices".
Stoyan Yotov - "European projects and programs" expert provided information related to the new 2014 - 2020 programming period. By the end of June 2013, under an indicative timetable the new operational programs that will be implemented the next 7 years must be fully prepared. Bulgaria must fit into this schedule so we can get in the new programming period in time", said Yotov. The "Law for the management of EU funds, which is expected to come into force, will be the main regulatory instrument for all EU funds in Bulgaria. One of the most important advantages of the Act is the introduction of one institutional authority for tender appealing. This will significantly reduce the delays that are now under the PPL and are often the cause of failure of procedures and, respectively, return of funds back to the EU", added the expert.
