Single Information Web Portal

Being part of the network of 28 information points in Bulgaria, the Razgrad District Information Point also joined the initiatives for celebration of 2013: the European Year of Citizens.   Within the framework of the Discussion Club intended for exchange of information between employers, employed persons and trade unions activists established by the Razgrad Regional Commercial, Industrial and Agricultural Chamber (RCIAC), the topics discussed were the European citizenship and the future development of the European Union.   The manager of the Razgrad District Information Point, Mr Yuliyan Danailov, familiarised the participants with the EU's main policies and financial instruments, and with the results from the application of the EU funds in Bulgaria and in the region to date. The Europe 2020 Strategy for Smart, Sustainable and Inclusive Growth was presented, and so was the financial framework for the achievement of its goals. The progress in the preparation of the strategic, planning and programme documents for development of our country in the subsequent programming period was given some comments on. The forthcoming amendments to the relevant regulations were considered, which are expected to improve the conditions in the case of application and efficiency during the implementation of projects financed within the scope of the new Operational Programmes.   In order to activate the European defence debate on the citizenship, the campaign "Month of Europe" will continue in the territory of the Province. On 8 and 9 May in the Municipalities Razgrad, Isperih and Zavet the local cultural institutions - the people's community centres, in partnership with the Razgrad District Information Point, will conduct various events to celebrate the European Year of Citizens - 2013.
