Representatives of local and regional administrative structures, cultural institutes, centres for youth activities, socio-economic partners and the business community in the Razgrad Province familiarised themselves with the progress in the preparation of the strategic documents for development of the country, and with the options at this stage of the Operational Programmes during the new 2014-2020 programming period. That happened within the framework of informational event organised by the Razgrad District Information Point.   The participants discussed the priorities of the developed Operational Programmes, the kinds of projects and activities, which will be able to receive financing from EU Funds during the subsequent programming period. The comments and the questions asked were mainly related with the new Operational Programmes "Innovations and Competitiveness" and "Science and Education for Smart Growth".   The regional Focal Point of the Programme "Glob@l libraries" noted that the team of the Razgrad District Information Point presents using a competent and easy to understand language the range of themes at its informational meetings. She emphasised that the events and appropriate printed information material for promotion of the new programming period must cover the territory of the entire Razgrad Province, so the public at large might get informed of the opportunities provided by the EU funds over the next seven years to a maximum degree.   All present got copies of the last issued material of the District Information Point, i.e. the Brochure "2007-2013 Significant projects in the Ludogorie area" and the reference book "The Razgrad District Information Point: Activities and services to support the local community".
