24 drawings and 13 photos were arranged in an exhibition by fourth-form children from the Ivan Vazov Primary Comprehensive School in the hall of the District Information Point. Children had taken part in a school project "Let"s Preserve the Nature" within the framework of the national campaign "For Clean Environment" of the Enterprise for management of environmental protection activities (EMEPA).
The Rusenski Lom river, the animals along its banks and the beautiful vegetation are all reflected in the children"s drawings. The schoolchildren had been on a one-day trip in the surroundings of the village of Nisovo: one of the locations where one may spot the exceptionally rare species of Black Stork and Egyptian Vulture.
Children familiarised themselves with the activity of the District Information Point, saw the informational material and received brochures on EU institutions, the Operational Programmes in Bulgaria and the projects, implemented in Ruse by using EU Funds.
Days ago children from the Young European Club from the Secondary Comprehensive School in European languages were guests at the office of the Ruse District Information Point. In their last academic hour of the year, they received successful training completion certificates.
