Single Information Web Portal

29.07.2013 The Stara Zagora DIP took part in a meeting dedicated to the presentation of the project „Network of innovators for sustainable ideas in the sector of agriculture and food and beverage industry" implemented by 13 partners from countries in Southeast Europe: Albania, Bulgaria, Italy, Romania, Slovenia, Serbia and Hungary. Among those partners are: the Vratsa Agency for Regional and Economic Development, the Vratsa Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and the Bulgarian Association of Regional Development Agencies (BARDA), which is an associated partner. The leading organisation there is the Regional Technology and Innovations Agency, Italy. The meeting was attended by young people who are representatives of the business community and commonwealth of scientists, and business supporting organisations. The main purpose of the project is to boost the generation of innovative ideas in agriculture and food and beverage industry in Southeast Europe, and the deadline for its implementation is 24 months. Within the framework of the project a network of local centres and an interactive platform for exchange of knowledge, common problems and decisions among young researchers will be set up; festivals of innovations in agriculture and foodstuffs sector with transnational format will be held, and so will international contests for best innovative ideas; international meetings of researchers, entrepreneurs and investors. At the meeting, the Manager of the Stara Zagora DIP presented the joint initiative of the Provincial Information Points consisting in carrying out an examination among beneficiaries under the Lessons Learned slogan.
