Single Information Web Portal

Over 90 representatives of the local administrations, small and medium-sized enterprises, social services, community centres, schools, and NGO sector were present at the informational meetings of Yambol District Information Point in the five municipalities in the Province of Yambol. The topic of the informational events was "Presentation of open procedures and good practices of projects implemented and financed under SCF". The team of the Yambol DIP presented the opportunities for financing which is provided by the Structural and the Cohesion Funds in Bulgaria and the JEREMIE financial instrument. The active at present schemes aimed at the provincial and Municipal Administrations for skill improvement of employees were also presented. The participants showed interest in the procedure for starting of own business under the Human Resources Development Operational Programme and "Energy Efficiency and Green Economy" under the Competitiveness Operational Programme. The local business got interested in the opportunities offered by the JEREMIE initiative and in the 50% effective reduction of the commercial loans interest rate provided under that initiative. During the meeting, Ms. Kalina Kazandzhieva, Director of Territorial Unit for Statistics in Yambol, presented the International Year of Statistics initiative. The second part of the meeting went on with a film about the projects completed which demonstrated the results from the preparation to the implementation of some of the most significant projects in the Province of Yambol financed by the EU funds. The participants assessed the informational meetings as very useful and manifested their desire to turn similar initiatives into a regular practice.

The web portal is developed and maintained under Project 0045-CIO-3.2 "Maintenance and development of а Single information web portal for Structural and Cohesion Funds in Bulgaria www.eufunds.bg" (BG161PO002-3.2.01-0004-C0001). The project is implemented with the financial support of Operational Programme "Technical Assistance" co-financed by the European Union through the European Regional Development Fund
