An awareness-raising meeting with youth organisations of Romania and Hungary took place in the Yambol District Information Point. The event was initiated by the "Kabile 12" Association of the town of Yambol.
"The purpose of the meeting is to present before the foreign youth organisations the implementation of the Operational Programmes in Bulgaria. Sharing experience and good practices of the projects implemented, the young people will have the opportunity to familiarise themselves in a pleasant and plain way with nearly all important projects in the region. The Yambol DIP took active part in popularisation of the Cohesion Policy in Bulgaria assisting all stakeholders wishing to make use of the opportunities for European financing", Ms. Maria Nikova, the manager of the Yambol DIP, said opening the meeting.
Ms. Nikova presented the activity and the services of the District Information Point as a part of Provincial Information Points" network. The presentation "Look: Our World Is Changing" delivered provoked interest, in which many photographs and music were used to illustrate some of the already completed and currently implemented projects under the Operational Programmes. In informal setting, the guests of the "Kabile 12" Association, Romania and Hungary shared their experience in the implementation of EU funded projects and expressed great appreciation for the warm welcome and useful and interesting information.
