The meeting on 6 August 2013 of the Yambol District Information Point (DIP) with the members of the Yambol Bulgarian Construction Chamber provoked increased interest. The experts of the Yambol DIP presented information on the new Innovations and Competitiveness 2014-2020 Operational Programme to the guests. The new instrument for direct support through vouchers provoked a discussion. The vouchers schemes are is characterised by facilitated process of application and reporting in comparison with the traditional grant schemes for. During the second part of the meeting, the guests present familiarised themselves with the Council of Ministers" Decree No. 69 on the conditions and procedure for contractor selection on the part of grant applicants and beneficiaries of the European Union"s Structural and Cohesion Funds.

To assist them in unleashing their potential for growth, the European union works on the popularisation of entrepreneurship, innovations and creation of better business environment", Ms. Maria Nikova, the manager of the Yambol District Information Point (DIP), noted. Experience of the projects financed under the Operational Programmes and already completed was shared at the meeting.
