THE INITIATIVE IS ORGANIZED WITH THE SUPPORT OF OP "ENVIRONMENT"
6400 students competed in the Green Olympics Campaign campaign on a national scale. Participants from more than 25 schools responded to nature conservation issues and won prizes provided by the Operational Programme Environment .
This year the online platform http://zelenaolimpiada.bg/ has registered 5000 participants. 1400 students from Kyustendil, Haskovo, Blagoevgrad and Pleven competed in eco quizzes and answered questions about the conservation of nature.
The online competition ended on November 17th. The winners of the three age groups were awarded at a solemn event in Pleven with an MP3 player, smartphone and tablet. The winners of the sixth edition of the "Green Olympics" are Valena Ivanova - 2nd grade, from Belene, Stoyan Panchev - 6th grade, from Panagyurishte and Aenea Georgieva - 12th grade, from Montana. Their essays on an environmental theme have been published on the Green Olympics website.
This year, the singer Michaela Marinova and Siluete Shadow Theater from Kyustendil joined the initiative with the show "Protect the Earth". For a consecutive The Green Olympics are organized by Akademika.bg with the support of the Operational Program "Environment".
